Lives Changed . . .

Praise God! We are seeing lives being changed due to His mercy and healing. As a testimony of His grace, mercy, and love we'd like to list some of the healings and miracles that we have had in our church recently:

Mary - after having severe migraine headaches, dr's. discovered a brain tumor. Surgery was done, Mary had faith in God that she would be totally healed. At her 6 month checkup there has been no reoccurance!

January 7, 2000 - The Holy Spirit visited in a powerful way! Lights began to shut off, and ground faulted outlets tripped. The only lights left on in the church were the alter where the band continued to play!

Victoria -- healing of Cerebal Palsy
Sandy - healing of loss of hearing in one ear
Karen - sinus problems healed
Vaughn - nerve damage in arm was healed
Travis - knee has been healed
Caroline - shingles left eye healed
Gabe - ankle pain healed
Brandon - elbow pain healed
Janice - had severe pain healed at bible study
Lori - healed of endometriosis & infertility...had first baby in 2000
Anonymous Visitor - back healed during the a.m. service

Here are some spiritual requirements for physical healing
(all scripture quoted is New International Version):

• You must have a desire to be healed.
  Mark 10:46-52 Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (that is, Son of Timaeus), was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." So they called to the blind man, "Cheer up! On your feet! He's calling you." Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. "What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him. The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see." "Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

• You must believe that God is able to heal you.
  Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! It will be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that very hour.
  Acts 3:16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.

God is able to heal anyone, anytime. He is not limited!

• Those with disease since birth:
  Acts 14:8-10 In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saaw that he had faith to be healed and called out, "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.

• Those sick for years upon years:
  Luke 13:10-13 On Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity." Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

• Some close to dying:
  Phillipians 2:27 (Paul sending Epaphroditus back to Philippi) Indeed he was ill, and almost died. But God had mercy on him, and not on him only but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.

• He can even raise someone from the dead!
  John 11:43-44 (Lazarus had been dead four days, John 11:39) When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."

• He is able to heal any and all sickness:
  Psalm 103:3 ...who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, ...
  Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee...healing every disease and sickness among the people.
